JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — The Johnstown community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Carissa Fleegle, 52, who tragically died in what Florida police have identified as a murder-suicide involving her husband, Gary Fleegle, 55. The devastating incident occurred Saturday at the couple’s home in Winter Garden, Central Florida, leaving family, friends, and loved ones in shock.

According to the Winter Garden Police Department, officers were dispatched to the residence after a family member discovered Carissa unresponsive. Upon arrival, investigators found that Carissa had been fatally shot. Police later located Gary’s body in another room, also dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
